To support our repair/overhaul requirements, we maintain a bar-coded thirty-three thousand line item inventory. This allows us to maintain traceabliity on every piece part that goes into one of our components.
With the UnivATE we can thoroughly test accessories focusing specifically on problems reported and test the units several times, even overnight, to be confident that they work at their maximum performance. Our quality assurance department is an independent, top-level review that monitors not only the repair process, but the inspection processes as well. Our QA system focuses on making sure procedures and standards are followed and determining whether or not they are effective in meeting the overall goals for maintaining an airworthy product. We maintain these strict guidelines in order to provide our customers with a product that is of the highest quality and to verify that our system is working efficiently and without fault.
Our facility is a state of the art, 37,000 square ft. building, on 2.8 acres of land. This building is custom designed exclusively for L.J. Walch Co., Inc.
